IF Howard County is under a snow emergency, according to the Maryland State Department of Education, we are closed. We cannot open or host any events until the snow emergency has been lifted.
This is one primary source for determining whether or not an event can be held.
Here is the other: In addition, the Howard County Board of Education updates a hotline, 410-313-6827 twice a day. If things are closed or cancelled at 7 a.m., the number should be updated again at 11 a.m. That means that 11 a.m. is the time we have to call a show for that evening. I realize that may be frustrating but I have confirmed that is the policy we must follow with the Board of Education.
Please look at the specific date of your event on the calendar, as we do update events when weather occurs which impacts rentals.
