HVAC CONCERNS
While we understand that temperatures in the theatre can fluctuate, unfortunately the energy levels are preset, as is the system itself. We do not have the ability to change the temperature setting. If your group has arranged for air conditioning or heating, it utilizes preset temperatures, set by HCPSS. There are various factors which influence what it feels like inside the theatre, including: the size of the audience, stage lighting, the height and size of the theatre, and the temperature outside. Therefore, we would strongly recommend layering, whether you are a performer or a guest. If you're on the stage, it can get quite warm, depending upon the lighting. If you're in the audience, depending upon the factors above, and whether your group has rented the space for four hours or twelve, you may want to have the option of adding or removing layers.
While we certainly understand that this can be frustrating, we hope this information helps ensure you have the best possible experience, whether performing or enjoying a show.
